In an unnamed totalitarian regime, a group of theater artists stage a banned play, under the government’s surveillance radar.
The play A Mirror by Sam Holcroft sharply criticizes the abusive structures of power in the theater and the wider entertainment industry.
It is a black comedy about the moral emptiness of the phenomenon of censorship, the propaganda and the absurdity of the tyrants who flatter themselves to believe that they are patrons of the Arts.
