The Flamenco Heritage Artists will be atVrysaki on the 3/9, 7:30pm, for an interactive flamenco workshop.

Based in London they create innovative flamenco choreographic mixes. Their inspiration is the research of the long and complex history of flamenco and the search for influences from different cultures and civilizations. Recognized by UNESCO as an “intangible cultural heritage of humanity”, flamenco has been inspired by multiple musics and traditions.

As part of the interactive workshop, the Flamenco Heritage Artists will present two choreographic compositions (Seguidillas and Guajiras). For Segudillas, which is one of the oldest flamenco rhythms, they have been inspired by dance movements as they are attributed in Byzantine manuscripts and frescoes.
